2. Information We Collect

Sense is designed following the principle of data minimization: we do not require user account registration, nor do we collect direct Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your real name, personal email, phone number, or passwords.

A. Location Data

• Precise and Approximate Location (GPS and Network): The application requests access to location permissions (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) solely to fetch real-time weather forecasts for your current area, synchronize home screen widgets, and provide context-aware daily routine suggestions.
• Background Execution: Location may be periodically queried in the background via scheduled worker tasks to keep your home screen widgets updated and deliver timely notifications for your morning or evening routines.
• Privacy of Coordinates: Coordinates are transmitted directly and securely to the weather API provider to retrieve forecasts. We do not store your location coordinates on centralized servers linked to your personal identity, nor do we track your travel history or sell location data to third parties.

B. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The application stores user preferences locally on your device via secure key-value storage (SharedPreferences):
